Arthur Souritzidis is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Momentum Solar from June 2010. Momentum Solar is a privately held solar energy company headquartered in Metuchen, NJ. The company is committed to making solar panels affordable and providing immediate savings for their clients while helping the environment.
He received Bachelor in Finance from Montclair State University. His father, Peter Souritzidis, is from Elefsina, Athens.
“I developed an interest in finance early on and studied it in college to prepare myself for a career on Wall Street. When I graduated it was during the height of the recession and I was then introduced to the clean energy space, which was showing economic growth,” he said.
Arthur Souritzidis has been selected by Forbes as one of their “30 Under 30 Energy” entrepreneurs. According to Forbes, he stood out as one of “The Best Minds Planning How to Power Our Country” at the impressive age of 28. He helped grow revenues to $100 million, and earned himself a 50% share of the business.
“I am honored to have been named on this list among fellow energy professionals. This is an exciting accolade for me to achieve at a time when solar energy shows no signs of slowing down. I look forward to a busy and successful year for our business and teaching others about sustainability,” Arthur Souritzidis said.
Momentum Solar, founded in 2009, is a top solar contractor and one of fastest growing private company that employs over 450 people nationwide.
