The Palm Forest of Vai is an unparalleled and unique landscape. Unique in Crete, Greece and in Europe, it is part of the official Sitia Geopark, recognized by Unesco and a monument of National and World Heritage.

This special landscape inspired the Cretan graphic designer & photographer Manos Efchetzis, to create a new film, entitled “The Miracle of Vai”. A time lapse film that includes more than 6.000 images of the unique palm tree forest and beach of Vai.
