Toronto District School Board approved March as Greek Heritage Month.

At the boards meeting at their location in North York ,the board trastee  Sam  Sotiropoulos brought his motion to the members of the board for aproval. The motion was unanimously aproved. The president of the Greek Community, Antonis Artemakis, the Education Advisor for the Greek Consulate, Debbie Hatzidiakos, the head of the Community’s Education Department, Anastasia Ganogiannis and other official representatives were present during the decision.
