The 2015 Travelers” Choice Awards are being announced every year by Trip Advisor and highlight the most beautiful islands. This year Santorini is voted the most beautiful island in Europe.
While Santorini is in the first place, two more Greek islands are among the top 5. Crete is in the third place and Zakynthos is in the fourth place.
The award is based on an algorithm that takes into account the quantity and quality of opinions and comments on hotels, restaurants and attractions over a 12-month period.
The most beautiful islands in Europe 2015:

2. Madeira – Portugal
4. Zakynthos – Ionian Islands, Greece
5. Fuerteventura – Canary Islands, Spain
6. Jersey – Channel Islands, United Kingdom
7. Mallorca- Balearic Islands, Spain
8. Capri – Campania, Italy
9. Tenerife – Canary Islands, Spain
10. Corsica – France
