A photographic exhibition depicting the Greek alphabet as well as the values and symbols of the culture of Greece from its inception to the present, opened in Brussels, as part of the cultural activities of the Hellenic Presidency of the European Union. Entitled «From alpha to omega» the Greek alphabet is represented through 24 snapshots taken by equal number of Greek photographers, that interpreted in their own way the Greek alphabet.
Letters, words, concepts and images show to the public pieces of Greek art and history. The alphabetical order beginning with the letter alpha, is represented by the word «agonas» (struggle), and ends with the letter omega, representing the word «oceanos» (ocean).
