Farewell video from “Médecins Sans Frontières” to Yannis Behrakis
With a touching video, “Médecins Sans Frontières” said goodbye to Greek photojournalist Yannis Behrakis, who died on 3 March 2019.

“Médecins Sans Frontières farewell to the great Yannis Behrakis. One of the top photojournalists in the world, but above all, a great man who found hope even in the most difficult situations”, it says in the introduction of the video and continues:
“Yannis Behrakis and Médecins Sans Frontières collaborated in 2016 in the photo exhibition “People on the Move ” at Athens International Airport. The video of the show is first published in digital media to commemorate the unique sensitivity of Yannis Behrakis.
Goodbye, Yannis! Thank you for everything. “
In 2017, Yannis Behrakis won the public prize in the Bayeux-Calvados Awards, in Bayeux, Normandy, and donated the cash prize to Médecins Sans Frontières.
