His dream is to defeat malnutrition in underdeveloped countries

Michael T. Kasseris wishes to bring his experiences in microfinance and entrepreneurship together to form the next generation of sustainable social enterprise.

In 2011 Kasseris got his Master of Business Administration in Babson College. There he invented a product and business plan called VitaFlavor. With it he has won the first place at the Babson Next Big Idea Competition.

Kasseris was also a grant recipient for Start-Up Chile, a program funded by the Chilean government to attract world-class early stage entrepreneurs to start their business in Chile. He is assessing also enterprises that are bringing consumer product distribution services to rural and underserved populations living below poverty levels that do not have access to stable sources of nutrition and other personal care products in Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam.

Michael T. Kasseris is the chairman of the environmental committee of the World Council of Greeks Abroad (SAE) and is a board member of the Taxiarche Greek Orthodox Church in Watertown, Massachusetts.

He started his education at Bentley University where he got his B.S. in Economics-Finance in 2006 and in 2009 his Master in Environmental Management and Sustainability at the Harvard University Extension.
