The soprano Myrto Papathanassiou has won the award «Maria Callas – Best New Artist of 2012″ for the wonderful performance as Violetta (» La Traviata «) in production of the Dallas Opera . She is an artist with an enviable international career, which has made distinguished collaborations with great names of the opera , as the director Franco Zeffirelli , who has entrusted her with several roles.
