At the beginning of the summer season, the image in the Museum of Pella, as in all museums – not only in Greece but also in the world at large – “was heartbreaking”, Ms. Tsigarida explains. Gradually, however, visitors not only began to increase, but also congratulated the staff for strictly adhering to the security measures to protect against Covid-19. “We wanted people to feel safe. The museum of Pella is located in the northeastern part of the archeological site, in the immediate vicinity of the modern settlement of Pella to the east.
