Stathis Psaltis for the movie”Kazantzakis”

The last role of Stathis Psaltis was in the film “Nikos Kazantzakis”, in which the beloved actor performs the abbot of the Sinai Monastery. Stathis Psaltis, who died at the age of 66, did not get to see the new film directed by Yannis Smaragdis in the cinemas. The movie is expected in the theaters next autumn.

Stathis Psaltis talks in a making off video, of all the moments and feelings he experienced in the shooting under the guidance of the Cretan director Yannis Smaragdis. In the video you will see what the beloved actor says about the final role of his life.

Stathis Psaltis collaborated perfectly with Odysseus Papaspilopoulos, who embodies the great Nikos Kazantzakis.

“They tied perfectly, and those who witnessed closely the shooting have to say that it was a magical moment: two actors who looked like giants” said Yannis Smaragdis.
