Sydney: Exhibition inspired by Greek mythology

Featuring a collection of paintings inspired by Greek mythology, the solo exhibition “Mysticism” by Greek Australian painter Diamando Koutsellis will be hosted at the Arthouse Hotel, in Sydney, from 6 October to 7 November.

This collection and investigation into Greek mythology looks at how ancient mythology can still be relevant in contemporary society. The mythology speaks of wins and losses, pains and joys and moments of change and transformation, all of these elements of life can lead to growth.

«Art is my driving force. It has helped me transform treasured ideas into dynamic realities creating projects which relate to aspects of my life. Art is my discipline and I spend the majority of my days and nights creating. The result has been many exhibitions in Australia and abroad, international publications, collections in Chinese museums, public art, community art, all of which have been milestones in my life» she mentions.
