Australia: Four Greek companies on the Top 500 of private companies

The list of the Top 500 private companies was published by the Australian magazine The Deal of the newspaper The Australian. Among the successful and profitable businesses we found 4 companies created by Greek immigrants to Australia.

In the 36th place of the list we find the travel agency Consolidated Travel, led by Spyros Alysandratos. Specifically, the company, which last year had revenues for the first time more than one billion U.S. dollars, has increased its revenues by 8.3% this year.

On number 61, we find the Georgiou Group. The company was founded by George Georgiou and is engaged in construction. With 601 million revenue and revenue growth estimated at 5.9%, the company is now considered one of the best companies in its field.

On number 400 we find the company A. Raptis and Sons, which operates in the field of fisheries. The company was founded by Athanasios Raptis from Euboea and now his children are in charge with great success, as the company’s revenue increased by 14.8% and amounted to 112.91 million revenues.
