33 museums and archaeological sites, which gather the 95% of visitors and revenues will be open for visitors from 8 am to 8 pm from April – October announced the Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, who chaired Staff meeting in the museum of Acropolis with the participation of the Minister of Culture, Panos Panagiotopoulos and executives of HMC .

Policies will be promoted to upgrade and maintein cleanliness in the surroundings, boost sales , and reconstruction of the Archaeological Resources Fund Receipts ( CAP ) .

The citizens who have active unemployment card will be able to visit all the museums for free, while this policy will be extended for the unemployed to other cultural venues as well.
