Connie Dritsas and Charissa Trikos are the founders of the famous fashion brand BOSSA. Their clothes are chosen by celebrities like Emily Ratajkowski, the Kardashians, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Hailey Baldwin, Naya Rivera and Selena Gomez.
Connie Dritsas and CharissaTrikos are cousins and their parents origin is from Kozani, Macedonia and from Porto Rafti, Athens. They both grew with a very strong Greek influence at home, as their parents carried on the traditions from Greece to Australia. They both studied Fashion Design.
“We both feel a strong connection to our Greek roots as both areas comprise of so much beauty, whether it be mountains or beaches, along with history that would make anybody proud to call themselves Greek” they said in their interview at ellines.com.
The idea of the company started in early 2014 when they both decided to create their own fashion label. From a bedroom startup it quickly evolved to chic headquarters with an entourage of international stockists.
The brand BOSSA became a cult following of celebrity ‘IT Girls’ including the Kardashians, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Hailey Baldwin and Selena Gomez.
The brand image and social media content embodies the luxurious lifestyle of the everyday BOSSA girl, this is where the brand name derives from. Both of them try to cater to all fashion needs, whether it may be basic loungewear or dressy outer wear. The brand blends simple designs with the perfect fit to flatter and sculpt the feminine curve.
As they have already conquered the United States, their next goal is to grow BOSSA into an international brand and to be stocked in leading department stores around the world.
