Argyris Zymnis is the founder of AdGrok, an Internet advertising startup recently bought out by Twitter, and an expert in data analysis.

Zymnis was born in Athens. He started his academic studies at Cambridge University in 2004 and later received his MS degree and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

His research focuses on the development of optimization algorithms for various applications in science and engineering, like systems control, communication and machine learning applications.

Argyris Zymnis started his professional career with Adchemy as a research engineer, before founding AdGrok in 2010. Since 2011, he has been working as a software engineer at Twitter.
