The Greek bad guy in Bond films

Simon Kassianides is an actor, producer and screenwriter. He has made appearances next to famous actors, like Daniel Craig.

Kassianides was born on August 7th, 1979, in Athens to Eleni and Marios Kassianides and was brought up in London.

In 2002, he graduated with Honours in International Business and Finance and was helping his mother run the family’s coffee shop, where he met with producer Piers Vellacott.

He has appeared in several television series in England and the United States, like Casualty, My Life in Film, Plane Spotting, Ultimate Force, Spooks, Recovery, Holby Blue, Suburban Shootout, The Kylie Show, Ashes to Ashes, The Passion, The Fixer, Love Soup, Hustle, Law and Order UK and in the popular series Nikita and Burn Notice.

He has also appeared in feature films, like The Edge of Love, Wuthering Heights, Between Two Fires, Smooch and Quantum of Solace.

In 2012, Michael Cacoyannis Foundation appointed Kassianides as the MCF’s Global Consultant and Representative.

Currently, the Greek British actor is working on a dramatic character close to his roots for the series Covert Affairs, playing the role of a Greek gun dealer.
