Alexandra Avramis’s origins are from Yiannitsa in Pella and she has successfully managed to be selected by the internationally prestigious group of classical ballet, the American Ballet Theater, among thousands of dancers from all over the world.

Alexandra started dancing at the age of 4. She later studied Physical Education and Sports Science at the Aristotle University of Thesaloniki. However, she had never quit dancing during her academic years. She also earned a Dance Teaching Diploma from the Royal Academy of Dance in London.

She has joined many dance groups and worked with prestigious choreographers. Later on, her dream led her to the United States, where she’s really shining. She also earned a scholarship at the world’s major professional dance school Joffrey Ballet School.

Alexandra Avramis currently dances with the international team of accomplished ballerinas of our times and is one of the few Greek dancers that have successfully managed to build an international career in New York.
