The Greek who determines Microsoft’s global marketing strategy

Jordan Chrysafidis is the Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for Microsoft Corp.’s OEM Division. Jordan and his team are responsible for defining and executing worldwide marketing strategies, programs and campaigns with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to drive the overall hardware ecosystem and achieve mutual business objectives.

Mr. Chrysafidis has held a wide variety of marketing roles since joining Microsoft in 1993. Prior to joining the OEM Division, he was the Vice President of Corporate Accounts Sales, Marketing and Operations for Microsoft’s US subsidiary where he oversaw the development of business plans that are key to managing the overall sales, marketing and operational activities of the US Small, Medium Customer and Partner segment.  

 

 

He also served as Vice President, Business and Marketing Officer for Microsoft Canada and was responsible for branding and driving global marketing campaigns.

Providing strategic leadership for the Windows Server System team,.NET and developer tools sales and marketing teams were part of Mr. Chrysafidis’ earlier days at the company.

 

 

Prior to joining Microsoft, he worked as a business development and sales consultant for a large North American IT services organization. Mr. Chrysafidis has also served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Marketing Association, as Director-at-Large.

He holds an Honors Science and Business Degree from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
