A Greek BU Content Manager at Coca-Cola
Drossos Drossos has recently assumed the position of BU Content Manager at Coca-Cola Central & Eastern Europe Business Unit, which includes 26 markets. He will be a member of IMC (Integrated Marketing Communication) and will handle Coke brands on multiple platforms, including creative content development for TV spots and other ATL materials, until the final production and implementation in the above markets.
He has also been the Senior Experiential Manager of Central and Southern Europe at The Coca-Cola Company, along with the Global Experiential Lead role, covering the strategic part of Experiential Management worldwide. He is considered one of the world’s top 3 Experiential experts and he teaches strategy of Experiential Marketing and ROI through Coca-Cola University.
Drossos Drossos is Greek-French, studied Economics and Marketing, received postgraduate degrees from England, France and Germany and a Ph.D. from America. He speaks six languages, including Japanese and German, and Marketing groups he was a member of, have been awarded many times both at an academic and business / corporate level.
He has worked for commercial giants, such as Shell, as a Marketing and Communications Manager, L’Oréal Paris, as a Business Consultant and Project Manager, and of course Coca-Cola, where he started in 2006, as a Marketing Assets & Promotions Manager and Digital Manager, when he pioneered the launch of the 1st European Coca-Cola Content Management platform and the first YouTube channel behind Fanta in Europe (in cooperation with France).
He then became Senior Brand Experience Marketing Manager at the same company where he led Experiential Marketing (Sampling & Assets) Activations & digital campaigns across all brands for Greece, Cyprus & Malta and, in 2016, he became the Head of Experiential Marketing & Licensing, where he was responsible for designing and leading the Experiential Strategic Brand Marketing activations of the Business Unit, for the General Management of the Coca-Cola Pop-Up stores (physical / Social Media / e-Commerce) and it was him who activated the biggest promotion of the year (WOAH Summer House) across 10 markets with 24 Million organic reach and 305K € media value.
Last month, he started as BU Content Manager at Coca-Cola Central & Eastern Europe Business Unit, where he leads the Creative Content development of Business Unit campaigns of the Coke TM (26 markets), from Ideation Content Creation of TV spots and other ATL Integrated Marketing Communication mediums, to the production and country delivery for local adaptations.
He is leading and had led in pan-European projects, such as the Christmas Truck Tour, the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, the Coca-Cola Zero Experiential Sampling Campaigns, and the Coca-Cola Pop-Up Experiential Stores.
In an interview, he shared how he sees his work and the challenges it presents “The customer experience is an endless journey and we learn more every day. Each case is different and there are always new battles to win. Each market has its own peculiarities and the experience, eventually, varies according to the project“.
