Gloria Votsis is an actress in the United States. She is known for roles in several TV series such as “Hawaii Five-0”, “The Gates”, “CSI: NY”, “CSI: Miami” and “Suburgatory”. She also recurred as Alex Hunter on the USA drama “White Collar”.

Votsis was born on 9 February 1979, in New York to a self-professed “big fat Greek family”. At the age of seventeen she went and studied abroad, spending her Senior year of High School in France. Upon returning to the United States, she attended college at New York University and lived in NYC for several years. She worked in finance for a few years, paying the bills while she did local theatre in New York. Votsis speaks French, Greek, and her native English fluently.

After quitting her job in finance, she worked as an actor in over 40 commercials she shifted gears and started working in television. She later moved to Los Angeles where she started to participate in several TV series.

Her TV roles include appearances at TV series such as “Sex and the City”(2003), “NCIS” (2005), “Jake in Progress” (2006), “Six Degrees” (2007), “Dirt” (2008), “CSI : NY” (2009), “The Gates” (2010), “CSI: Miami” (2011), “Hawaii Five-0” (2012), “The Millers” (2013), “Grimm” (2014) and “Criminal Minds” (2015).

Votsis has also participated in several films such as the movies “The Education of Charlie Banks” (2007), the “Train” (2008) and the “Killer Movie” (2008).
