He saves small businesses in tv show in USA

Marcus Lemonis is the chairman and CEO of Camping World, the largest RV and outdoor retailer in USA and Good Sam, the world’s largest RV owner’s organization. He is also the star of CNBC’s prime time reality series “The Profit”, a show about saving small businesses.

He is also know as the “business turnaround king”.

Lemonis was born in war-torn Beirut, Lebanon in 1973 and at nine months old he was adopted by Leo and Sophia Lemonis, a Greek couple living in Miami. As a young child, his family owned Anthony Abraham Chevrolet, the largest Chevrolet dealership in Florida, exposing him to prosperous business values.

Lemonis studied Political Science, Criminology and Economics at Marquette University.

Lemonis started his business career in 1997 when he held several sales and managerial roles for AutoNation. From June 2001 to February 2003 he served as CEO of Holiday RV Superstores Inc. Following that, he co-founded a company called FreedomRoads and began acquiring RV dealerships.

On CNBC’s prime time reality series “The Profit” he lends his expertise while using his famous “three Ps” principle (People, Process, and Product) to assist struggling businesses around the country from a variety of industries.

“I truly feel like I can go into almost any business, doesn’t matter what it is, and have at least a decent chance of fixing it because I use three simple principles: people, process and product,” Lemonis said.

After merging Camping World with Good Sam Enterprises in 2010, Lemonis now leads nearly 7,000 employees in over 100 U.S. cities, and recorded close to $3 billion in sales in 2014.

Lemonis teamed up with NASCAR in 2014, to renew Camping World’s sponsorship of the Truck Series through 2022. The extension affirms the RV and camping company’s commitment, continuing a relationship as title sponsor that dates back to 2009.

He is also the owner of the Greek restaurant “The Simple Greek”.

“Coming from a Greek family, I am particularly excited to bring this dining experience to the wonderful community of Highland Park and give our customers reasonable prices and convenient access to great food,” Lemonis said.

He is also an award-winner as in 2007, RV Business Magazine named Lemonis “Newsmaker of the Year” for having “more impact on the industry than any single individual or company in recent memory as an agent of change and retail consolidation.” Crain’s Chicago Business featured him in their 2005 edition of “40 under 40”; and in 2008, Ernst & Young named him “Entrepreneur of the Year.”

His philanthropy started in college, where he served as the president of Marquette’s Student Athletic Committee and planned a citywide clothing drive to help the homeless of Milwaukee. Over the years, he has also contributed time and money to various organizations including: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, NVEEE (National Voices for Equality, Education and Enlightenment), New Journey’s Transitional Home, Neat Stuff, Ravinia Festival Association, RV/MH Hall of Fame & Museum and the Joffrey Ballet Bridge Program.
