Successful entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in the field of energy efficiency

Troy Geanopulos is the CEO and co-founder of The Efficiency Network, Inc (TEN). The company focuses on developing and utilizing proprietary technology to establish energy efficiency.

Geanopulos was born in Pittsburgh in the United States. He earned a Bachelor of Arts at Dickinson College in Pennsylvania (1990 – 1994). Upon his graduation, a key opportunity presented itself within a family business, Fostech USA Lightning Services , which is a privately held company focused on providing design and installation of highly efficient lighting systems. Geanopulos, was the Vice President, Account and Project Manager at that company from 1994 until 2000.

In 2000 he became the President of CLT Efficient Technologies and led the company to accomplish its strategic objectives. Focusing on government entities, school districts, colleges and healthcare facilities, Geanopulos brought the company from $1 million to $34 million in eight years. When CLT was acquired by Constellation Energy in 2009, Geanopulos was appointed to senior vice president of business development (2009-2011).

In September 2012, Geanopulos is the CEO and co-founder of The Efficiency Network, Inc. (TEN). For him, perhaps the most exciting aspect of TEN is the company’s focus on developing and utilizing proprietary technology to establish energy efficiency as a viable business tool for our customers. By doing so, he expects TEN to be recognized as the nation’s leading innovator in building efficiency.

Geanopulos is very active in the Pittsburgh community, currently serving or having served on a number of non-profit boards.

He resides in the suburbs of Pittsburgh with his wife, Annika, and his three children.
