Denise Vasi is a model and actor, best known for her roles in television series All my children and Single Ladies and for catwalk appearances with major fashion houses.
Denise was born on March 1st, 1983 and was raised at Brooklyn. Her father is of Dominican descent and her mother is Greek Puerto Rican. Her parents later divorced and Denise and her two younger brothers were brought up by her mother, who has been looking after following both ethnic family traditions.
“The food is all half and half: rice and beans, and feta, and olives and lamb,” Denise said in a former interview, adding, “we celebrate Greek Easter, and Christmas, and all the major holidays are celebrated Greek Orthodox.”
Vasi started modeling at the early age of 12. She has appeared on the covers of international glossies, like Elle, GQ and Marie Claire and also has featured in several advertising campaigns.
While modelling, Denise Vasi also studied Business at Long Island University.
She started her television acting career with a role in the American television series All my Children of mild success. Later on, she relocated to Atlanta to star in the popular soap opera Single Ladies. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
She has also played parts in feature films, like When in Rome, What’s Your Number? and Law and Order: Criminal Intent.

In the summer of 2012, Denise Vasi and her fiancé, director Anthony Mandler, visited Greece.
