The inventor of the revolutionary ophthalmokinesis dyslexia diagnostic test

George Pavlidis is Professor of Learning Disabilities at the University of Macedonia, Clinical Professor at the Department of Psychiatry of Penn State University in the United States and life member of the International Academy of Learning Disabilities Research. He has also been Chairman of all global dyslexia conferences since 1983.

He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of the Aristotle University of Thesaloniki and received his doctorate from the Department of Psychology of the University of Manchester in England.

At the age of 23, Pavlidis began his academic career as a Lecturer at the University of Manchester and by the age of 25, he successfully managed to be named head of 20 major research programs in England, Greece and the United States.

In 1978, he invented the ophthalmokinesis test, globally known as the Pavlidis Test. The test allows the accurate prognosis and diagnosis of dyslexia and attention deficit disorder even from an early pre-school age. His innovative method has been globally acknowledged as a patent in the United States, France, Canada and England and also endorsed by several influential universities, like Harvard, Boston, Penn State, Columbia and many more.

George Pavlidis has authored over 180 scientific publications in international scientific magazines and scientific conferences and has also published 4 books.
