Apple has released a new ad for the iPhone 7 Plus, that takes place in Greece and more specifically in Mani. The shooting was made in 2 Greek villages, Oitilo and Karavostasi.

The video is entitled “Take Mine” and is focusing on the Portrait Mode camera feature found exclusively on the larger 7 Plus variation of the handset.

Opening with a scene of a woman arriving into a Greek village to visit her elderly grandmother, the two ladies are seen sitting in a café, where the granddaughter uses her Rose Gold iPhone 7 Plus to take a photograph of the relative using the Depth Effect camera feature.

After being amazed by the clarity of the image taken, the excitement attracts the attention of others in the café, causing a chain-reaction of locals in the village asking to have their pictures taken, including a barber, musician, local children and a fisherman who all enjoy the depth-of-field photography which offers the adored blurred background effect.

The ad ends with the tagline, “Portrait mode on iPhone 7 Plus – practically magic”. The song in the commercial is “Pame sti Honolulu” by Kostas Bezos.
