A Greek mastering the American showbiz

Patricia Kara, born Panagiota Karamouzi, is a well-known model, actress and host of the American showbiz. Her mother and father migrated to the United States and now half the family and her sister have turned longer permanently in Greece.

Kara began her career in Chicago, her city of birth. She has covered the Golden Globes ceremony and several Hollywood events. She has appeared in tens of TV commercials, for brands like Coors Light, Old Navy, Bally Total Fitness, Kohl’s, Ericsson and Edison Power.

She has also worked for NBC, E! Entertainment and MADtv and has played roles in the television series Beverly Hills 90210, The Young and the Restless and Passions.

As a model, Patricia has joined several campaigns for bathing suits and sports equipment, as she keeps fit. She has been photographed for prestigious magazines, like Forbes Magazine, Sports Illustrated, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Redbook and Shape, while People Magazine ranked her in the list of 100 Most Beautiful Women of the United States.

The journalist of Greek descent has hosted numerous Red Carpet events including the Motion Picture and Television Fund for the Catherine Zeta Jones where she has interviewed red carpet guests.

She has also joined charity organizations, like Trinity Children’s Foundation, Tiger Woods Foundation, Make a Wish Foundation and Read Across America.

Patricia Kara was united in marriage to her beloved husband in a traditional ceremony on the island of Mykonos.
